Vice President Yang acknowledged the diligence of those advanced teams and individuals, and called for students to learn from them. Taking Academician Liu Houli's study and work experience as an example, Yang first of all pointed out that students should integrate their dreams into the cause of China, so as to make a contribution to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Then he said students should follow the requirements of Chinese tertiary education, seeking truth, keeping learning, and improving the comprehensive ability in study, practice and innovation for their personal development. His speech was concluded with a hope for the Chinese youth, keeping pace with the development of our country and devoting their lives to serving Chinese people.
