It is known that SKLEH was established by the State Planning Commission in 1988 on the basis of Hematology Hospital (Institute of Hematology) of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College. The laboratory takes hematopoietic stem cell biology as the main entry point and focuses on the pathogenesis of refractory blood diseases, especially malignant hematologic diseases, enjoying a certain academic reputation at home and abroad.
