In order to promote international cooperation and university-enterprise cooperation in talent training and scientific research, Gao Chi and his delegation visited Kasetsart University(KU, the first state agricultural university of Thailand, ranks top among its counterparts nationwide and 29th in terms of subject of agricultural & forestry worldwide according to QS World University Rankings of 2017 ) and Charoen Pokphand Group(C.P. Group, whose business covers more than 20 countries and regions, has over 400 subsidiaries and about 200,000 employees.) from December 3rd to 7th.

Visit KU

In KU, Gao and his delegation met with Ladawan Puangchit, vice president of the university. They had an in-depth discussion and both sides agreed to further cooperation in student and faculty exchange, course construction and scientific research. College of Food Science & Technology of HZAU and Faculty of Agro-Industry of KU also detailed their collaboration during this meeting. Besides, Gao visited four exchange students there from HZAU and encouraged them to work hard.

Visit C.P. Group

Then, in C.P. Group, Gao and the delegation visited the R&D center and NONGJOK factory of CPF(Charoen Pokphand Food) with Zhou Yongshun, vice president of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Food Enterprise of C.P. Group (China) and alumnus of HZAU, and they were warmly received by Sukhawat Dansermsuk, vice president of C.P. Group. Later, they exchanged views on establishing internship base in C.P. Group for students of HZAU and on research cooperation.
