On May 17th, a four - member delegation headed by president EI Sayed EIKady from Benha University, visited HZAU. Prof Zhang Xianlong, Vice President of HZAU, received the delegation in the conference room of the Administrative Building.
Zhang Xianlong extended a warm welcome to the delegation and made a brief review of cooperation between the two universities. He discussed with the delegation on future cooperation plan. He also pointed out that productive cooperation had been conducted in international students cultivation, students exchanges, teacher training and scientific cooperation since the signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Benha University. He believed the visit of EI Sayed EIKady’ delegation would provide opportunity for future cooperation. What’s more, he made an introduction about our school’s “Double First-Class” construction and dominant disciplines,
President EI Sayed EIKady quite agreed with Zhang and hoped to further strengthen cooperation with HZAU. He believed that multicultural exchange and learning was important for youth, and the forms of them should be diversified. He said first batch of 14 students from Benha university would be selected to attend the three-week cultural exchange activities.
As Benha University was preparing to establish an experimental base of fisheries, the delegation visited our teaching practice base of College of Fisheries. During the visit the delegation also visited our International College and met international students from Benha University.
