A dynamic hot dance “BTS Fire” ignited the audience. In the warm atmosphere, the host announced the start of the Korean Show and taught the audience how to cheer in Korean in order to make the atmosphere even warmer.
As the first performer, the girl band “Sunshine”, three exchange students at HZAU, played an active dance in floral skirts and dancing with energy. After the dance, they were challenged to do the Chinese tongue twisters and initiated the Korean tongue twister challenge, then invited the audience to join the dance "The Shark Family". Unlike the band Sunshine’s dance with a young girl’s tenderness, the modern dance “Bboom Bboom” brought by three exchange students and the dynamic dance “Black Pink” performed by the Korea Cultural Exchange Association have a clear rhythm and sexy passion. Afterwards, two medley dances of “growl” and “Bang Bang bang” pushed the atmosphere to a climax, audiences screaming and clapping to the music.
Then, Kwon Na-yong, from South Korea, taught the audience four Korean words using classroom teaching: beautiful, awesome, nice, handsome, and interacted with the audience. Two other Korean exchange students showed PPT and video to introduce Korean culture and explained Korean gesture language and festival etiquette used in four different situations, including greetings, thanks, apology, evening greeting four different situations of gesture language and festival etiquette. After each gesture being taught, they would tell the audience how each gesture differs from others through a video, and invite two exchange students, a boy and a girl, to give a demonstration. Another exchange student taught Korean traditional culture on the spot, and showed traditional hanbok, royal hanbok, modern hanbok, hanbok’s accessories and traditional hair bands through pictures, and introduced Korean ancient architecture, Hanok Village. In addition, Korean exchange students focused on the top ten Korean foods such as kimchi, fried chicken beer, and fried rice cake for the audience. They said: “Korean food is not only delicious but also has many other merits.”
The South Korean Show ended up with the inspirational song "The Dream of a Swan" performed in both Chinese and Korean by Korean exchange students.
