Recently, Hubei Provincial Young Talents Development Program unveiled the second list of the candidates in which Di Jinhua, associate professor of College of Humanities & Social Sciences of HZAU, and Wan Hu, lecturer of College of Plant Sciences & Technology of HZAU, were selected.
Hubei Provincial Young Talents Development Program is jointly led by the Organization Department and the Communist Youth League of Hubei Provincial Party Committee. The demanding Program is designed to select and support the high-calibre youngsters who are able to serve as pioneer in the academic and technological progress and play a pivotal role in the development of the region and industry, constituting the leading force in all fields and providing talents and intelligence for the sound development of economy and society in Hubei.
The selection of candidates for the Program kicked off at the beginning of this year. Enduring the screening and checking at each level, 106 applicants were eventually eligible for the evaluation and attended the on-site defense. Experts such as the candidates of National Thousand Talents Program or the Provincial Hundred Talents Program were invited as judge. By way of oral defense and common appraisal, 60 candidates were named in the second list of Young Talents Development Program. The Organization Department and the Communist Youth League of Hubei Provincial Party Committee will provide generally-three years’ assistance to the young elites selected in terms of funds and mentors, training, policies, etc,.
