On the morning of September 15th, Huazhong Agricultural University and Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University (ZNWU) came together for the formal signing and unveiling ceremony of a technical collaboration. Vice President Wang Jianhong, and Liang Chen, the director assistant of ZNWU, graced the occasion. Hou Dongbin, director of HZAU Hospital, presided over the ceremony.

Wang thanked ZNWU for its support and assistance in chest pain first aid and maternal and child health, congratulating on reaching a technical cooperation relationship. He noted that signing this hospital collaboration agreement was a rare opportunity and expressed the hope that ZNWU would give full play to its leading role and help HZAU in medical technology talent development, expert consultations, remote diagnostics, and hospitalization convenience. He also encouraged cooperation and resource sharing in the development of healthcare management discipline. Wang hoped that with the help of ZNWU, the university hospital would address its weaknesses, promote its development, and provide robust healthcare support to faculty and students.

Liang, in response, outlined ZNWU's vision for future collaboration.  He emphasized that in future cooperation, ZNWU would leverage its strengths in technology, talents, management, and resources under the guidance of Healthy China Initiative and actively provide HZAU with its high-quality medical resources. They would improve the two-way referral mechanism and regularly lend their expertise in addressing intricate and critical cases. The commitment extends to activities like ward rounds and health education. He affirmed that ZNWU would support the hospital medical staff of HZAU in the medical personnel training and do their best to improve the medical security services for the faculty and students in our university.

During the gathering, the two parties committed their partnership to paper by formally signing the technical cooperation hospital agreement. Following this step, the attendees unveiled the plaque commemorating the birth of the “HZAU-ZNWU Technical Cooperation Hospital”.
