Two More HZAU Think Tanks Selected as CTTI Source

Nanhu News (Correspondent Tuqian) On December 17, 2022 New Think Tank Governance Forum, co-sponsored by Guangming Daily and Nanjing University, was held online. With the theme of “Implementing the Guiding Principles of the Party’s 20th National Congress and Improving the Consultancy Service in New Think Tank Governance”, this forum released the 2022 CTTI supplementary source think tank list.

Hubei Rural Development Research Center and Rural Social Construction & Management Research Center were selected for the CCIT list in 2020. After two years, two more HZAU research institutions have been selected as 2022 CTTI source think tanks, including Hubei Institute of Ecological Civilization Construction and Center for Natural Resource Management and Global Governance.

Prof. Zhang Junbiao and Prof. Luo Xiaofeng from the College of Economics and Management of HZAU are the chief experts of Hubei Institute of Ecological Civilization Construction, a new think tank platform in Hubei province. The institute’s research and decision-making consultation are mainly carried out in the following aspects: the progress and promotion of “the Construction of an Eco-Hubei”, the system and mechanism of ecological civilization construction, and the transformation and development of "green and low-carbon circular economy" in Hubei.

Prof. Zhang Anlu is the chief expert of Center for Natural Resource Management and Global Governance. And the center has four research fields: trans-regional land resource management, cross-basin water resources management, collaborative governance of energy and environment, and the system of public policy and governance. It provides intellectual support and decision-making reference for Chinese natural resources management, public policy and governance.

China Think Tank Index (CTTI) is a think tank vertical search engine, and a data management and evaluation system developed and promoted by Nanjing University and Guangming Daily. It is committed to collecting, sorting, evaluating, preserving, retrieving and utilizing Chinese think tank data, and also represents the development of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics and related major research trend. At present, the CTTI has included the sources of 890 Think tanks and the 18110 experts’ data. The 2022 CTTI supplement think tank sources were selected after a series of strict screenings, including infrastructure construction, subject and project, decision-making consultation, theoretical innovation and public opinion guidance, internal governance, specialty and characteristics and so on. Only new think tanks that have been built for at least three years, with practical values, great influence and high visibility can be included. After the thorough examination and review of experts, 86 supplementary think tanks were selected out of 187 applications.
