On the morning of November 25, the inauguration ceremony of “HZAU-YONGXIANG (Hubei Yongxiang Agricultural Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd.) Postgraduate Workstation” was held in Anlu County, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province. Ma Huali (Director of Degree and Quality Management Department of Graduate School), Liao Qingxi (Dean of College of Engineering), Zhou Guohong (Secretary of Anlu Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection), and relevant leaders of the company attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Prof. Liao Qingxi and Ye Yuanwen (General Manager of Hubei Yongxiang Agricultural Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd.) unveiled the plaque for the workstation together.
Mr. Ye introduced the history of YONGXIANG. He said the innovation in high-level talents training would be promoted by the workstation established. Various professional talents from colleges and universities would be committed to expanding the company’s developmental areas and boosting forward-looking R&D projects.
“This ceremony marks a good beginning of university-enterprise cooperation,” said Wang Yongqiang, Chairman of YONGXIANG. “Enterprise development requires value creation as the driving force, and colleges and universities are the main impetus of social value creation. The establishment of the workstation can give supports to our company in technology and R&D, which enables us to timely develop new products and equipment according to market demand to make our company more competitive.”
Ma Huali said he hoped the two sides could take the workstation as a new starting point, further deepen the integration of industry and education, university-enterprise cooperation, and collaboration between industries. It aimed to jointly create a win-win situation for schools, enterprises, local government, and graduate students, better serving the national policies to develop the local economy and industries.
Prof. Liao said the sustainable development of agriculture depended on mechanization. “We should actively respond to the call of ‘vigorously promoting mechanization and intelligence’ put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Jiansanjiang, and seize the opportunities to develop.” He looked forward to conducting technical cooperation between HZAU and YONGXIANG and jointly building a high-level talent training base. He also hoped the local government could give its supports to the development of the company.
At last, Zhou Guohong, on behalf of the municipal government, added that the government would actively serve university-enterprise cooperation and provide a sound environment for scientific and technological innovation. He also expressed his best wishes for the company’s development.
The attendees also visited the production workshop of rape mechanization equipment and machines test base and exchanged their ideas on relevant technical issues.
