On May 29th, the “Haid Week”, jointly staged by HZAU and Haid Group, is launched successfully. Later, a forum on Animal Breeding Industry is held as part of the events, featuring the participation of experts and scholars both online and offline.

The “Haid Week”, which will last until the 4th of June, is the first enterprise-oriented week held by HZAU. Aiming at promoting university-enterprise collaboration, a series of activities are available, including mentor program for the “Haid Elite Class”, the Belt and Road Agricultural Industry Expo, story sharing sessions, forums, all of which are conducive to high-quality development of the whole industry.

The Haid Group, founded by Xue Hua, an alumnus of HZAU, has maintained mutual strong cooperation and exchanges over the years, jointly tackling key problems with HZAU in multiple domains.

Li Zhaohu, president of HZAU, refers to Haid Group’s contribution in high-tech agriculture as a typical example, to show how HZAU graduates serve the country through industrious work and entrepreneurship in modern agriculture. The HZAU-Haid cooperation has paved a new path for in-depth industry-university-research integration as well as innovative development. Li wishes to take up the shared responsibility with its alumni, to advance rural revitalization and green development in agriculture, by the means of university-enterprise collaboration just as the “Haid Week”. In the future, HZAU will give full play to the role of talent, research, and technology, in order to build an innovation platform, and to provide support for its alumni and all sectors of the society.
